The way to change ourselves is to observe our thoughts and motivations taking up a practise of spiritual or religious discipline in order to purify these. The way to help change society is to thereafter communicate what we know is right and true amongst the onslaught of ignorance. Even when mocked and attacked by those who feel threatened and of whom wish to maintain hold over the sorry dumb collective from which they feed.
Many great people throughout history have shown up in this position of opposition speaking up against the ignorance and lies of the corrupt hierarchies and people round about them. i.e. Jesus, Ghandi, Martin Luther King and others unknown. What I personally feel too is that the world is about to see not just one or two of these types of people taking stage again, but many. A small trickle here and there dotted around the world in different village, industry and context but then eventually causing a flood of change to rise up from within each of us as we step up within our own spheres of influence to do the same.
We've been disempowered for so long under the weight of ignorance within a society ruled by leaders suffering as we are in terms of personal pain and insecurity. But within each of us too is a great light and strength and this will be activated when we see and join with the inspiration and strength of others. Especially in those who have gone somewhat before the rest of us in their own personal quest of defeating the ignorance within themselves. It's these people who are now on the cusp of bringing about the biggest "inside job" that this industrialised world society will ever come to know.
But these people are not battle hardy power mongers nor out for personal acclaim. They are quiet and reserved but powerful in perception. They are kind and selfless as they themselves have gone beyond their own fear of death. They want for nothing but have all to give. And through the truth of their simple and straight forward spoken word, calm presence and demenour they'll naturally evoke a silent realisition within each of us. A realisation of truth. And through this, dormant energies will awaken within, naturally shifting our perceptions encouraging our strength in stepping aside from the onslaught of ignorance and taking up our own expression and place within the liberation of each our own lives.
These brave and powerful people are in each of us. For we each are they. And again through bettering ourselves and learning from the wisdoms contained within the worlds spiritual and religious informations we can bring about not only a metamorphosis of self but of this whole society. Rest assured in any case that this metamorphosis is now underway and with the pendulum of existence now swinging from dark to light we will experience too a period of adaptation as the old ways crumble and fall and as the new and good comes to establish itself silently across the world.
This is why it's important not to become overly attached to our life situations most especially not our materialistic comforts because some day soon it may all be gone. And our reactions to this potential should at least now be seriously considered. Not necessrily from the point of view of how to survive without the supply of money, food and electricity but from the perspective of how we oursleves will come to view the way we actually are and of what matters most to us in this life.
Therefore too I wouldn't so much keep an eye on the TV to see what's going on here and there in terms of wars and financial collapse etc. but to consider more a keen eye on our heart so as to see how truthful we are being to ourselves. As from here is experienced our only true freedom, life and protection from all and any adverse circumstance that might come to affect us from out there.
