How to get your sh*t together

I wonder if you've really thought about this? ... That deep inner feeling of wanting to do YOUR thing. That yearning to get into YOUR zone and do the thing YOU want. To paint, style, teach, make things, heal people, or whatever it is that comes natural to you.

If you're not doing it and making a living from it then why not? Is it because the practicalities of life are getting in the way from it happening? Don't you have faith in your abilities, or do you think even that you're past it now?

Well you're never past being YOU, and life's practicalities can be used as a tool to help sharpen the abilities you need to excel in YOUR own thing. For-instance ...

If life sees you working in a supermarket in order to make ends meet and you actually want to work with people in your own thing perhaps in an advisory, teaching or counselling capacity then use the abilities you learn in the supermarket to help train yourself up to get better and more efficient at YOUR own thing.

Communicating with people is always essential, so is the ability to sell, to communicate value, to deal with conflict, organise yourself, work with money, connect with other people or work in a team.

Look at all those skills to be gained from working in a supermarket!! You can transfer these skills to anything else you want to do. Same can be said for being a Taxi driver, Cleaner, Charity worker, McDonalds burger flipper, it doesn't matter. It's just a change in perspective and using the "day job" as a tool in your overall plan. Life is your creation and nobody is going to hand you the keys to your own creativity and success, that's all up to you!

The yearning of wanting to do YOUR own thing doesn't need to be stifled or put on the back burner. Just pull it all together, both the practicalities and the dream and make it one and the same thing. Put a step by step plan together and make it work. Once you think this way and start your plan you've already closed the gap of yearning, you're already now doing what you want to do.

Think about it and be happy now.
