Expect happiness and good things

How many time's do you feel yourself doubting situations and expecting the worst? I catch myself as I do it as it's silly. Why doubt? Why worry? Even if things happen we don't like then all the worry and the doubting anyway would still have been a waste of energy. Things happen and that's that.



It's a piece of cake
We can plan and prepare practically for a rainy day but otherwise the negative emotion just makes us feel crap. Don't do it, and if you do do it, then find out why you do it and fix it. Stop dreaming bleakness and hard times into your life and instead expect happiness and good things.

Granted they're not always going to happen but by expecting good things we uplift our own mood and positively influence other people and situations around us. Therefore creating greater potential for good things to occur. It's not that hard it just takes willingness. These comfort zones we inflict upon ourselves, these doubts and excuses we hide behind create lethargy and dull our senses. We perceive what we believe. Expect opportunity and you'll find it.

The trick is to expect happiness and good things whilst at the same time not depending on them. Dependence feels horrible, don't you think? We're giving up a part of ourselves and waiting for another to give us what we want. To make us feel good. Expect happiness and good things and you'll raise your energy beyond the mundane, beyond lethargy and self doubt.

It's not always easy to maintain, that's why a healthy lifestyle helps too. Eat healthier and spend more time in nature away from stress. Build on that and become a better person, happier and more alive.
